Spiritually Minded
To be “Carnally Minded” is death! To be “Spiritually Minded” is life and peace! The un-renewed mind, the un-regenerated mind can be very religious and yet have no spiritual inclination or faith purpose. The carnally minded are those whose minds are not continuously cultivated with a son-ship consciousness, and therefore they have no tendency of directed faith to obtain the promises of God. To be carnally minded is death, to be void of understanding or either uninterested in the beautiful promises of God which enables one to kingdom living. To be carnally minded is to live an unsanctified and unholy life. The carnally minded will not come to the fullness of a victorious life of peace. The non-spiritual minded person is unable to walk and live in the God given rights of authority and dominion! The non-spiritual minded will never live a life above defeat where he or she can partake of the abundance that Jesus came to give! To be minded, is to have a mind of a specified kind or a concerned interest in a specified thing. This eliminates being double minded! Remember James 1:8 “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” To be minded, is to have a mind of interest engaged in a specified thing or area. In my context here to be spiritually minded is to have a mind that is spiritual, a mind joined in the Holy Spirit concerning that which is supernatural. For the believer to be spiritually minded is to be “Word Minded” and because the Word of God is spiritual it is a supernatural Word. The spiritual minded ones are of a supernatural mind! To be spiritually minded means that you have separated yourself from that which the world terms usual or natural and those who settle for the norm. To be non-spiritually minded is to be of a mind that is enmity with God (Romans 8:7). A true believer, one who has been born of the Spirit has been born of the Supernatural and they have God given rights and abilities! Our anointing and ordination is of the Supernatural God! We Have The Mind of Christ and We Are Heavenly Minded! The word “spiritual” is not used at all in either of the 4 Gospels, it is an after Pentecost word! The word “spiritual” came about after the birth of the Church. It’s a word that came about after the birth of the new creatures in Christ Jesus! The word “Spiritual” came about after the great baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit! “Spiritual” is associated with the idea of power and invisibility! This is why the spiritually minded has a continuous faith tendency to operate in an order of existence beyond the visible universe. The Holy Ghost is the invisible supernatural agent that brings the Word of Faith believer into spiritual heights far beyond the boundary of all natural hope. The spiritually Word minded believer develops an awareness and consciousness of being Sons and heirs of God. Their tendency and inclinations are influenced by being continuously engaged in the power of being spiritually Word minded. The spiritually minded have a readiness to reach into the invisible realm of the Spirit in-order to bring the manifestation into the natural realm, whereby they produce the fruit of life and peace. The new creature in Christ Jesus is of a new mind, he or she is heavenly minded. What is the mind of Christ but to be supernaturally Word minded? What is the mind of Christ other than a ready and positioned mind of victory? The end-time Bride of Christ is a Super Church with a supernatural anointing! The non-spiritually minded receives not the revelations of the Spirit of God, neither will they accept them. According to 1 Corinthians 2:14 the non-spiritually minded are incapable of receiving and getting acquainted with the teachings and revelations of the Spirit. It is because they are spiritually discerned. The true church is made up of a Super Race of new creatures with a supernatural ordination, Jesus Himself being the author and beginner of this new Super Race. The word super its self means to exceed the norm. Jesus came for the whole man! He came to bring man from a mere human life to a super human life, a life manifest in the flesh that would exceed the norm! He came as God incarnate in the flesh, He came as a kinsmen redeemer into the human community in-order to bring us back to all the first Adam forfeited. Adam held the title deed to his inheritance, “the earth” and he forfeited it all for his pleasurable feast of disobedience. What kind of God wants his people to live in misery and lack? It is in Him we live and move and have our being and there is no misery or lack in Him! “Seek ye first” set your aim after “the Kingdom of God and His righteousness”, His way of doing right “and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt 6:33). “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2).
