About Gene Wiseman

At the age of 24, brother Wiseman became an ordained, full time, Evangelist Missionary. For over 50 years he and Sister Wiseman have travelled around the world spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sister Wiseman sang in the meetings, taught Sunday School and Bible classes, and raised their four children who accompanied them and sang in the meetings. Together, they ministered across the continent of Africa, including Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and other countries. They have preached God’s word in Russia, England, Columbia, Scotland, Jamaica, and Bahamas, holding miracle crusades. They have many testimonies, having seen God open the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, and healings of many kinds, and deliverance from demonic oppression. An especially uplifting testimony comes to mind, as a lady brought her baby through a prayer line. A witchdoctor had placed a curse upon the baby and tied a string around its neck, as a proclamation that the baby belonged to the powers of darkness. If the string was ever removed, the witch doctor claimed, the baby would die. The fearful mother brought the baby to brother Wiseman for deliverance from the curse of death. Brother Wiseman asked her, “Do you believe in the power of God, that He will deliver your baby from this curse, and your baby will live and not die?” She said yes to God and renounce the powers of darkness over her baby’s life. The string was removed, and the life of this child was a testimony to the glory and goodness of God. Fittingly, Brother and Sister Wiseman established Miracle Missionary Outreach, a worldwide ministry that preaches and teaches love, healing, forgiveness, grace, mercy, and deliverance. Brother Wiseman believes in the Book of Acts Church. One of his favorite scripture passages is found in Mark 16:17, “These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; …they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”

Evangelist Missionary Gene Wiseman was born in Seth, West Virginia, where he grew up under his grandparents who were Church of God pastors. He married Lorene Wiseman when they were just 18 and 19 years old, respectively. They have four children, two born to them in the first two years of marriage. Brother Wiseman often says, “Lorene and I were so young, raising our children was like raising siblings!”

The miracles of God in the lives and ministry of the Wiseman’s simply cannot be numbered. But more than the miracles, the manifest presence of God’s spirit has remained upon them throughout their lives. Sister Wiseman went home to be with the Lord in October 2023 and received her glorious inheritance. Brother Wiseman continues to travel and minister freedom, liberty, and wholeness to those who are burdened, weary, afflicted and lost, and to spread the Gospel of peace, wonderous love, and great expectation of the joy that is set before us, not only in the life to come, but in the life we live today. God is good and His mercy endures forever.
